Southend to Paris

Having recently got back from Berlin it seems quite strange to be writing about a city I visited no less than six months ago. Every time I try to think back to that week in March my mind succumbs to the much more recent memories of Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse, Alexanderplatz and the Reichstag buildings. Texas Thunder – Brickmakers

Texas Thunder rocked an audience of six when they played at the Brickmakers on Tuesday night. The audience was stunned by their generic, meandering, 12-bar-tomfeckery.

The wonder haas of typography that is FontShop founded by the brilliant designer Eric Spiekermann has re-launched and re-vamped it’s sister site FontFeed. The site features some rather good articles on typography and graphic design, which act as brilliant source of inspiration to any designer.

Little Giants

I have been waiting for this DVD with great anticipation, it’s taken 3 months to arrive from the States, I had almost given up hope.

Don Pendleton is a skateboard artist from Ravenswood, West Virginia. He currently resides just outside of Dayton, Ohio. He is responsible for some of Alien Workshop most prolific and famous deck artwork. He has designed pro models for likes of Jason Dill, Steve Berra, Fred Gall, Bam and Muska.
